SOFTWARE
Our software is easily configured using the "Getting Started Wizard", which guides our first-time clients through the process of configuring their set backup schedule. Once scheduled, your backup(s) will perform automatically and without interruption to your work, keeping your business safe and productive.

After you backup your data for the first time, you will see uncompressed and compressed storage numbers in the log file. The uncompressed number is the amount of space your selected files take up on your hard-drive. The compressed number is the amount of space your files take up on the ISG Data Vault server. ISG Data Vault can compress your files from 1/3 to 1/2. This saves space and reduces your cost.

HARDWARE
ISG Data Vault uses Compaq Proliant RAID5 servers. Our equipment is fully redundant and 99.9% fault tolerant. We are constantly adding and upgrading technology to keep our high standards.

ENCRYPTION
Before your data leaves your computer is encrypted using up to a 448 bit encryption algorithm, and only you have the unique key to open it.

LOCATION
Your data is stored in ISG Data Vault's secure data center on our backup servers. To ensure absolute protection, we back up your data once more on a seperate redundant drive
